How often pages are reviewed

When a page is materially updated we refresh the "Updated" date shown under the headline; we do not change dates for cosmetic edits. Older articles that are no longer accurate are corrected or removed rather than left to mislead.
Independence and advertising
Editorial decisions are made independently of any operator. Where the site earns a commission from links or advertising, that relationship never changes a rating, a ranking position or a factual statement. We would rather fix a mistake quickly than defend it.
